　　秘魯，通往庫(kù)斯克的山路上，男孩吹起了短笛。這是一幅田園牧歌的小景。國(guó)際攝影記者比肖夫拍了許多感人的兒童照。他把孩子們當(dāng)做美好未來(lái)的象征。比肖夫是個(gè)耽于幻想的人，想看到世界重歸于文明，認(rèn)為攝影會(huì)指明達(dá)到這一理想的途徑。他報(bào)道過(guò)朝鮮戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，也報(bào)道過(guò)印度支那戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)。然而，他更喜歡的題材還是家庭和社交生活，因?yàn)檫@些題材訴說(shuō)著延續(xù)性。他不喜歡極權(quán)主義者們贊賞的那種翻天覆地的革命。他拍了許多樂(lè)師、舞蹈者和一些古風(fēng)猶存的社團(tuán)的文化生活。他在傳統(tǒng)的倭國(guó)發(fā)現(xiàn)了這種古風(fēng)猶存的范例，并以此為主題作成一部重要的書(shū)，于1954年出版。同年，比肖夫在安第斯山區(qū)一次車(chē)禍中遇難，時(shí)距拍攝這幅照片不久。
